Have You Ever Wished Upon a Falling Star? By Terry Spear

Have you ever sat gazing at the night and chanced upon a falling star? Ever make a wish and hope with all your heart it might come true?

If so, did it?

Gray wolf Meara Greymere, of the Oregon coast werewolf pack run by her brother, Hunter, and his new mate, Tessa, doesn’t really believe in making wishes. She believes in taking action to make her dreams come true. So when her brother’s mate convinces him to take her on a honeymoon, Meara is on the moon, but her head is not in the clouds. She’s already advertised for bachelor alpha males to rent out the cabin resort she and her brother run and within two weeks, she figures she has a pretty good chance at finding the perfect mate.

The first candidate looks pretty hot. Bjornolf Jorgenson.

Alpha male. Check.

Hunk extraordinaire. Check.

Bachelor. Check.

Interested. Appealing. Sexy. Check. Check. Check.

But someone’s in her house and she’s about to give her renter his first chance to prove he’s got what it takes to be her mate.

Hero material.

Until she discovers just who’s in her house and that’s one hot, alpha male, hunk extraordinaire, bachelor, interested, appealing, sexy, definitely a hero type (SEAL), who shouldn’t be here. Which means trouble.

The problem is she’s always had a thing for Finn Emerson, but he’s the kind of wolfish guy who’s too busy saving the world to settle down. So he’s NOT her type, really. But he’s not going away, claiming that he’s there to protect Hunter, and since Hunter’s away, he’s there to protect her. What kind of logic is there in that? Hunter is in Hawaii. Go there and protect him.

Then she can go about her business, collecting an alpha mate, without Hunter’s interference.

The only problem is Finn’s concerned she might be used as bait to get to Hunter. So she has a choice, neither of which she wishes—join Hunter and his mate on their honeymoon, like that’s going to happen, or stay with one sexy hunk of a wolf and let him protect her.

What’s wrong with this scenario? It doesn’t fit in with her plan: Find a mate among the renters coming in to stay at her cabins.

And Finn is not an eligible mate in her book.

So what’s a she-wolf to do? Wish upon a star? Or take action?

Meara doesn’t wish upon stars. She’s definitely an action kind of girl.

If you were Meara, what would you do?

No wishing needed. I think the fact that Meara is a go-getter will be very appealing to Finn. I say she take action and convince him that she’s the one. He’s going to be the one needing protecting from love ;)

Hi, ladies! Sorry, I’m in New Orleans and had to leave at 5:30 yesterday morning and didn’t get in until rather late. Then couldn’t find this posting. But I often get lost! :)

Thanks to Brynna for having me here! And yes, you’re so right, Na, Meara is definitely not one to let stuff just happen. :) And when she makes up her mind to do something, she does it!

Thanks, Tammy! It is a great cover. I love him! And he wouldn’t stop me either! He’s truly as hunky as he looks!

    Hi Terri

Loving the cover, a good cover is important to me, i like a book that stands out.

I have spent many a night gazing upon the stars, My wishes/dreams don’t always come true, for the most part i am ok with that, for i can follow the dreams of others and live out the lives of fairy tails in the books i get lost in.

I’m a believer that fate has its own plan so weather you wish or not, that plan is going to play out the way it was intend to in the first place.

    Thank you

Hmm, somehow my comment didn’t go through! Thanks so much, Felicia!!! It’s been a whirlwind of events at the FF&P conference! So it’s been hard finding the time to stop and get on line!

Finn is truly gorgeous, yes! Definitely irresistible!!! I believe everyone should have a SEAL in wolf’s clothing for their very own! Don’t you agree??? :)
