Romance on the Go

Breaking your e-reader at the end of a long and trying day is enough to send any woman over the edge. Karen’s one treat are her naughty stories. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Saucy stories in the old library? It doesn’t seem likely, but when Karen is sent home with an odd looking reading device, magic happens at the touch of her fingers. Is the drop dead gorgeous man she encounters real or just a flight of her imagination?

Caught in a weekend of sexual delight, will she lose her heart, as well as her inhibitions? And is there any future for the two of them?

Be Warned: sex toys, bondage.

Review:

Karen is in dire need of release. Release of worries, release of frustration, just release from reality. So when her e-reader is accidentally fried, she is desperate to find another source for her mental escape from reality. Finding Jones at the local public library was a stroke of fortune, for he loaned her a magical e-reader with a Jinn inside.

Sol has been trapped for eons. He is brought to life to pleasure women, but none have ever pleasured him in return. They have only been interested in their own wants, never in his. Finding Karen is like a dream come true for him, but as wonderful as she is, he can only have her for the weekend.

Sol and the Magic Fingers is a short story with a fun theme, an interesting setting and steamy sex. And, of course, there’s a happy ever after ending.

Knights of the Temple, 2

A war has been waged on Earth for millennia, good and evil fight for the very souls existing there.  The Illuminati spread chaos, assisting in evil’s cause, profiting from the death and destruction.  Gaia chooses not to stand idly by, so she saves a handful of Templar Knights to be her protectors, to help keep the balance level.

Matthias and Nicolas are hardened warriors on a mission to bring down their foe when specially engineered bullets stop them in their tracks.  They’re left for dead and brought to the ER, where their special regeneration causes an eyebrow to lift.

Britt has always had a special power she’s hidden from the world.  She’s been imbued with a talent for healing others.  When two hulking men come into her ER with gunshot wounds, she finds their wounds perplexing, but she’s thrown for a loop when touching them makes her gift go haywire.

Be Warned: menage sex (MFM), anal sex, spanking

Review:

Matthias and Nicholas have been Templar Knights for over seven hundred years. They have seen a thing or two thousand, but never in their very long lives have they seen anything like the nurse with the blue light pouring out of her. As they attempt to heal from an attack by the Illuminati, Britt is there to help them along. And kill their attacker by means of “healing” him. Their connection is instantaneous and very mutual, but shocking and scary to the two men who have never dreamed of finding love.

Britt has a gift that she has almost never shared with anyone. Now that her parents are gone, she is completely alone in the world. Until two gunshot wounds are brought into her ER and her “gift” completely takes over her body to heal and then save them. Waking up in the middle of nowhere with the two hunky hotties is not necessarily a hardship, but being told she may never be able to return to her old life is too much of a shock to handle.

Two Knights of Indulgence is a twisting tale of supernatural beings fighting to balance good and evil in the earth. The story reflects the struggle to keep evil at bay while also fighting off the staggering loneliness that seven hundred years without love has wrought. The characters are memorable and sexy, the sex scenes are enlightening (and they glow), and the cliff hanger has me chomping at the bit for the next installment. A wonderfully imaginative and highly sensual read.

The Giovanni Clan, 3

When Giorgio Giovanni tracks the troublesome Jemima down in a hospital bed in Italy, he has one thing on his mind—revenge. However, the fragile woman he encounters is not the devious female he remembers. When it becomes clear that she is in danger, he risks everything to keep her safe.

Left for dead, Jemima wakes up in hospital, terrified, and with no idea of her identity. The angry man, who comes to claim her, is the only link to a shared past she can’t remember. A past that threatens to destroy them, and all she has ever held dear.

With danger all around them, and their sexual chemistry off the scale, can they find their way back to each other, or is the past too devious to tame?

Be Warned: anal sex, rimming, bondage, forced seduction, sex toys, physical abuse of heroine

Review:

Giorgio has a saying about bad pennies always turning up when you least expect them, and his estranged wife is definitely a bad penny. He fell in love with her almost at first sight, and she betrayed him in more ways than one. Now that she has returned, he doesn’t want to feel anything for her but loathing. Too bad he can’t keep his hands off her.

Jemima has done some terrible things in her life. She knows this, but she doesn’t know how she knows or what she did. She woke up in a hospital bed, frantic with fear, but she can’t remember what she’s afraid of or why. Hearing the hot Italian man claim her as his wife is both thrilling and terrifying. She hurt him, and the pain in his eyes makes her long to heal him.

Too Devious to Tame is engrossing. The confusion of not knowing all the details is frustrating for the character and intriguing for the readers. The plot is interesting with several twists, the characters are hotter than sin, and the sex is bittersweet. An entertaining read.

A trip back to Tulsa lands her back in the strong arms of Brock, and she becomes a slave to the passion that once bubbled between them. Their intimate encounters rekindle a firestorm that cannot be denied any longer.

Will she admit her love for him or run again?

Review:

Skye is back to her childhood home for a funeral. What she finds before she gets there is her first love, the one she left behind, and the one she now realizes is the true love of her life. Hearing that he is married is even more painful than she feared it would be, but she can’t resist calling him to say goodbye.

Brock was devastated when the love of his life just up and disappeared. He tried to move on, even got married. But his wife saw through him and realized that he would never love her like he did the memory of Skye. So, divorced and lonely, he lives with the memories…until Fate delivers his love back to him.

Leather and Steal is a super quick read, but it packs a ton of passion and romance into a tiny little space. The characters are made for each other, and the sex explodes between them. The story is well written and ends with a happily ever after. Loved it!

The Succubus Chronicles

A succubus half-breed, such as Violet, who hobnobs with the highest echelons of Victorian London society, is a bride in a difficult marriage of extremes. Any act that wants of propriety, and she would find herself banished to the wilds of Cornwall where her full-blooded succubus sisters live and thrive. Yet she prefers the company of mortals, even if she must occasionally risk her reputation by engaging in discreet sexual liaisons.

When Violet’s great uncle dies and bequeaths her his laboratory and home, she crafts an artificially intelligent automaton named Adam to sate her carnal needs. Her plan is coming along nicely until an incubus from her past, and the unwitting model for her invention, discovers her secret. Violet has good reason to be wary of losing her heart to Lyle, but perhaps Adam is the key to fulfilling all of her desires.

Be Warned: menage sex (MFM), anal sex, Adam is a very large, steam-powered sex toy

Review:

Violet is a half mortal, half immortal succubus. She loves inventions and is working on a steam powered miracle of her own…an automaton that can pleasure her enough to sustain her so she doesn’t have to feed from other humans. And she has succeeded in grand style. Lyle is an incubus who has inadvertently fallen in love with a half mortal. She is wise to his ways, and unfortunately he has had the pleasure of her flesh only to be turned away afterwards. She will not have him again since he drained her with his exuberance, but he is becoming desperate and willing to stalk her if necessary. Succubus Steam is a short story full of sexual gratification. The experience is invigorating for the characters and arousing for the readers. It is well written with a steampunk theme and scorching sex. Overall, a very pleasurable read.

Criminal Seduction, 1

You can go to prison or you can open your legs…

Caught in the act of breaking into Sebastian Demetrious’ safe, Penny “the cat” Matthews, thinks her criminal run has finally come to an end. Only she doesn’t expect the choice offered by the super-hot Greek billionaire, a choice which isn’t really a choice at all.

Prison or his bed.

It’s no hardship for Penny to submit to Sebastian’s desires. If a barter is what it takes to win her freedom, so be it. But before long she finds herself thinking about more than just the job, more than just the money. Only she’s a thief and he’s a billionaire…and she’s hiding a secret that might just change everything.

Be Warned: anal play, bondage, spanking

Review:

Sebastian is a mark, and Penny must keep that in mind. She set out to steal his money, but he is stealing her heart. How her mission went so wrong is beyond her comprehension, but falling in love with a mark is the last thing a thief should ever do.

A burglar in a sleek black cat suit, green eyes shining, is the last thing Sebastian expected to find when he came home. Tackling it and coming up with a handful of sexy curves is just a plus. Becoming intoxicated by the stunning beauty under the mask is absolutely insane, but sometimes things happen for a reason and Fate will have her way.

Taken by the Greek Billionaire is an engrossing tale about three women, bonded by shared hardships, trying to make life better for those even less fortunate than them. Add a sexy billionaire, or two or three, and you have a recipe for disaster…or romance. The characters are very easy to love and the settings are diverse. Overall, a great feel-good romance with hot and steamy sex, too.

The House on Silk Street, 1

Araminta found her husband in the notorious house on Silk Street, and she hoped her luck had changed. Perhaps this would not be the marriage of convenience she feared. If only she could persuade him that she was indeed the sub he needed.

Meeting his new wife at the one place all deep dark desires could be satisfied, Felton wondered if he had been mistaken. Was this a marriage of mutual passion and ideals? Would she truly obey? There was only one way to find out—test her submission.

Be Warned: sex toys, spanking, bondage

Review:

Araminta has experienced BDSM with her first husband. Now that he has passed, she is missing the excitement and fulfillment that comes with the alternative lifestyle. As a last request of sorts, her deceased husband has made arrangements for her and delivered them via his solicitors, long after his death.

Felton is a lord of the realm. He is also the proprietor of the House on Silk Street. Newly married, he should be home in bed with his new spouse begetting heirs, but instead he is at the house of ill repute, wishing he was with his wife in the way that he craves most.

Silver Silk Ties is a short, historical fiction about BDSM in the ton. The plot is interesting, but I was a bit confused about parts of the story. A little bit more of the back story would be helpful, but overall, it is an entertaining read.

A bottle of wine and a phone number later. That was all it took for twenty-five year old Charity Miller to find herself thrust into a relationship she never saw coming. Each and every day spent with her tattoo artist boyfriend Jake brings her that much closer to falling in love and two steps backward from erasing the look of torment from his beautiful dark eyes.

Jake is falling hard for his girlfriend. Charity is unlike any other woman he has ever been with and it scares the heck out of him. With her soft brown eyes and penetrating gaze, Jake knows she is on to him. Yet, her kisses taste like the sweetest heaven and her trust in him leaves him shaken, so why on earth would he risk it all and surrender all pretense of being anything more than a lowdown trailer trash ex-convict?

Review:

I don’t think if I’ve ever been so excited about a free read. I had been waiting impatiently for it when Ms. Hunt had announced when it was coming up and that it was free at it.

I loved the story and the characters; Jake, biker, tattoo’s, badboy; Charity, sweet, trusting, in everything his opposite. The contrast between the two was great, because that was exactly what attracted them to each other.  I absolutely loved this badass guy. He had issues, and they didn’t disappear suddenly.  When he saw and felt that Charity wouldn’t give up on him, it made him uncomfortable and made him “rebel” against her. Showing odd behavior and bringing her to a biker café when he knew she would be uncomfortable there. He was trying to scare her away.

And when Brielle, Jake’s ex girlfriend came back, and I read how affected Jake was by her I honestly expected him to cheat. Would hate him for it, but after showing such behavior you can’t blame me for thinking that. Luckily he didn’t.

Charity, shocked as she was when she first set her eyes on him, she quickly got past that and took Jake for who he was. And when Jake tried to scare her away she didn’t budge. Nor did she push him to tell her anything. Although she had a feeling he was keeping something from her, and saw that it was eating at him. I found her a very strong woman.

There were two little remarks I had, while reading I noticed a few sentences that were missing some words. And it was too short. When I saw the famous words “The End” I was like noooo. I hope we will get to read more about Charity and Jake in the future I am dying to read how Charity’s parents (especially her mother) will react to Jake. I love Ms. Hunt’s books and am looking forward to reading more of them.

Lady Amias has a bad temper. She’s been rejected by four husbands already and Stryker Bloodaxe could be her last chance to escape spinsterhood. Unfortunately he has the civility and refinement of a randy bull, and his remote manor on the wild, Cornish moor never housed a female unless she was a servant or a whore.

Amias knows Stryker doesn’t want a wife, but he needs her bride purse and he’s just desperate enough to take her on, reputation and all. Whatever is required to claim the haughty lady’s dowry, this ruthless warrior will do it.

Except one thing.

He’ll never give his heart.

Undaunted, Amias strikes a bargain with her barbarian. After all, he has other parts to share, even if his heart is out of bounds. He may think he’s unlovable, his manor uninhabitable for a lady, but she hasn’t earned the name “Ami the Unbreakable” for nothing.

Be Warned: anal sex, public exhibition.

Review:

An unusual start and finish, The Barbarian has a story within a story. The historical erotic romance of Stryker Bloodaxe and Amias the Unbreakable is possibly my favorite Georgia Fox story yet, and it is housed within a brief glimpse into an erotic romance writer’s life (possibly our own Georgia Fox). It definitely makes me wonder if Georgia did, in fact, stab her ex-husband in the rear with a lemon zester.

A travel weary writer? Check. Pestering agent and publisher? Check. A vacation gone awry? Check. The poor writer is pestered with the same darn thing I want to know…how does the story end? Riding off into the rainy sunset in a stolen car is romantic, but did she live happily ever after, or did she get arrested for grand theft auto with her make-believe hero?

The Barbarian is interesting in the beginning and end, and the middle was fabulous! So, Georgia, how does the story end? And when can we expect the next one? I really, really want to hear about Remy!

May is an artist for the Penguin Foundation. She would like nothing better than to join the upcoming expedition to Antarctica and capture penguins in the wild. Her boss, however, would never consider it.

Beau has spent years improving himself to finally win the hand of the woman of his dreams. When he has met all of her requirements, he sets out to convince her that they were made for each other. Unfortunately, he didn’t know that the woman he’d dreamed of was gay.

Babysitting the Billionaire was a fun short story with likable characters, a well-defined setting and a fairly unique plot with a couple twists. It was not overly erotic, but it was romantic and sweet (with some good old American sixty-nine thrown in for good measure).
