Book Two of The Fallen Kings Cycle Series
I must admit to a ridiculous weakness for epic fantasy series. So when I read the description of The Dread I had to read it. And I am really happy I did.
The Dread is the second book in the Fallen Kings Cycle series by Gail Z Martin. I did not read the first book in te series before reading this one but I had no trouble getting into, following and enjoying the story. There are mentions to things that I assume happened in the first book but they did not detract from the story or confuse me as I read.
My favorite character is definitely Kiara. She is strong, proud and faces the challenges in her life head on.
All of the characters in The Dread are well written. The story flows well and the scenes are vividly described.
The Dread really was a delight to read.
