Three sisters ridding the Otherworld of evil-one monster at a time.
We’re the D’Artigo sisters: sexy, savvy operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. But being half-human, half-Fae means our supernatural talents can go haywire at any time. My sister Camille is a wicked good witch whose life recently took a drastic turn. Menolly’s a vampire who’s still getting the hang of being undead. And me? I’m Delilah, a werecat with a very interesting love life. But life isn’t all fun and games. We’re on the trail of the demon general who has decided that we’ve become quite a nuisance…
It’s Samhain, and the Autumn Lord has called for my training to begin with the Death Maidens…and I find that I like it. But we’ve got problems: werewolves are going missing and a new magical drug, “Wolf Briar,” is being used as a weapon. My dear Chase and I have come to a delicate crossroads. And most dangerous of all: Stacia Bonecrusher has put a bounty on our heads. Now it’s a race to take out the demon general before she realizes the sixth Spirit Seal is within her reach…
Review:
I fell in love with the D’Artigo sisters in the first book of the Otherworld series Witchling. And that love has grown with each volume that Yasmine Galenorn has added to the series.
Once again we come back to Delilah’s story. I love the way this series is set up – each book focuses on a different sister (Camille, Delilah and Menolly) and weaves the story of their lives tighter and tighter.
Note: Harvest Hunting is the 8th book in the Otherworld series and I highly recommend reading them all if you want to keep up with the whole story. Now that being said, Harvest Hunting, like the other books in the series can be read on its own without difficulties or without getting confused. Meaning that though there are references to things in the other books in the series the story in Harvest Hunting does not lean on the other books in the series. It has a great story in and of itself.
Harvest Hunting is a fantastic continuation of the Otherworld series. It introduces a new man into the sister’s lives, brings another spirit seal to the surface and shows the girls in yet another round of trouble.
I do love this series and this installment did not disappoint. I love reading about Delilah’s interactions with the Autumn Lord and all of the individuals tied to him.
I cannot wait to read the next book in this wonderful series.
Harvest Hunting, and the entirety of the Otherworld series is a collection You Gotta Read!
