Ryver knows she can never go home again. That’s fine by her, since she’s with Theron, the vampire she loves. Now living in vampire territory, she’s learning more about Theron, and not all of it is good. The more she sees, the more she’s convinced that the man she fell in love with, the man who can make her body sing with a single touch, might not be the man she thought he was.

Review:

Trapped Lover is the second book in the Caveat Emptor series, I would strongly recommend reading the series in order, cause you’ll don’t understand the characters and the situations they are in. That being said in this story the adventure of Ryver and Theron continues. They have escaped the mages that came to retrieve Theron and arrived safely at his home. But Theron behavior towards Ryver has changed. He seems more cold and reserved. Was he only using her?

The feelings of uncertainty and the fear Theron leaving her, stood out for me. Not only were her feelings strongly portrayed , I myself actually began the believe that Theron wasn’t the same person I got to meet in the previous installment. But everything has a reason and so did Theron. The chemistry between the two of them and the sensual games they continue to play with each other almost felt the same. But after the play he grew cold once again. His changed behavior really got me curious why he was acting that way. Although not all was explained at the end, it was enough to keep me satisfied to await the next installment in the series. And at the end I once again happened on a cliffhanger. They are always perfectly timed, leaving the reader once again wanting more.
