Jo has been lost without her fiancé. He disappeared the day after proposing, and she hasn’t seen or heard from him in years. (At one point, it was ten years, later and more frequently, it was four years MIA…most likely a typo that didn’t get corrected in review.) Jo knows that Sean is her soulmate, and if she can’t be with him, she can’t move on with her life.
Sean was in hell for years. As a covert agent, he took risks every day, and one day his luck ran out. Having been caught, held and tortured for three years before being rescued, it took time to heal and get ready to reclaim the love of his life.
I love this story, even though it was short and had a few typos. The romance, tinged with a hefty dose of BDSM, was erotic and steamy with strong characters and an interesting plot. The BDSM/sex scene was yummy, and the ending was a happy ever after.
