Fantasies
What is a Fantasy? To me, a Fantasy is anything I dream. Sometimes it’s something I want to happen in my life, sometimes it’s just a dream of something that could happen, and sometimes it’s something that I really don’t want, but I think it might be fun to think about for a short period of time. Other times they’re things that really wouldn’t be good for me.
So let’s talk about the different fantasies. First, something I want to happen in my life. The one recurring Fantasy I have that I would really like to have come true? Well, I fantasize that I make enough money with my stories that I can remodel our house, pay it off, and live comfortably with my family for the rest of our lives without having to worry about how low the temperature on the air conditioner is set.
The Second Fantasy, something that could happen, but probably is just a dream…I fantasize that I am a world famous author, traveling the world doing book signings, going to conferences, meeting fans and that they will one day make a movie from my stories. That is something I really, really would like to happen! What would I enjoy most of this fantasy? Meeting people and seeing the world. Okay and seeing who they cast in the roles I created, LOL.
The Third Fantasy, a cherry red, 2012 Mustang. I drool over this car. I pant and lust after it. I want one soooo bad. Sort of. It’s not really a practical car. It would get me into trouble, because I love speed and I have a lead foot. I know this about myself. I work hard not to speed and to pay attention to the traffic laws. In a car like that, I’d forget myself and go for broke, so even though I SAY I want it, I don’t really. I have too many people that depend on me to get myself into trouble with a fast car.
The Fourth Fantasy, Chocolate. That everything I ate was covered in chocolate. And it didn’t have any calories, or fat, and just looking at chocolate didn’t add twenty pounds to my hips. I know, it would never happen, but a girl can dream, right? Just think, everything you eat tastes like chocolate…
