22-year-old Dianne Anghel,  has just graduated college and has to move back in with her father, Ferdinand, and their friend Dr. Nat Silver. She doesn’t mind that the two men in her life are vampires – her late mother was a werewolf anyway – but that makes getting a mainstream daytime job difficult. Eventually, desperate, she uses her inherited shapeshifting powers to become a bounty hunter. The local criminals don’t take too kindly to this, though. Neither does Ferdinand. And a mysterious organization is watching the trio’s every move.

She overcomes the odds and fights for what she needs and wants. I’ve read several books that deal with the paranormal world. However, Ms. Haymond surprised with her spin on the natural state of the story line. Overall, a great read.

How far would you go for a love that comes along once in a lifetime?

With the intensity of her newfound relationship Audrina falls headlong into adventure and discovery-delving into a life she didn’t even know existed. But all is not smooth sailing. As struggles for independence surface between Audrina and her family, a threat of war looms on the horizon between long feuding rivals. In the aftermath of conflict, secrets will be revealed before a new kind of destruction threatens the whole island’s civilization.

Review:

Sometimes an author takes a risk, and has me hooked. This happened with Beloved Soul by Shelly Pratt, which features a hero with a Secret, and a Heroine whose is full of life.  When I discovered that the first pages of the book were actually told from said heroine’s point-of-view, my surprise doubled. Would it work? It did: The book proved as unique as it was delightful.

The ending is satisfying and Amazing, with all issues resolved  enough to put everything on the right path to make me believe that Audrina and Chas can have a future together. I am especially happy that the differences between the protagonists as regards social status are not glossed over, but remain part of the picture. Acknowledging that, and being able to deal with it, shows Audrina and Chas maturity. A second theme of the novel deals with friends and where you may find them, and this is also tied up in the ending very nicely.

So all in all Beloved Soul is a novel very much to enjoy if you like something different in your Young Adult romance, and if you are not put off by flawed characters. Shelly Pratt tried something new here, and I can only wish her success with this novel so she may encouraged to write more in this direction.

Review:

It was a sweet romantic story about two people who found healing from their turbulent pasts with each other. I loved this story and did not want it to end, ever! Well done and so refreshing. I was pleasantly surprised by this particular shifter book. Everything about this book was enjoyable for a lot of reasons mainly though because the characters were believable and real.

I’ve been a fan of Ms. Kirk’s. I really enjoyed Wolf’s Haven. Overall, A great wonderful read.

Revenge against Madeline’s brother forces James to do what ever is necessary to get back what was stolen from him, even if he has to use Madeline to do it. But the one thing he doesn’t count on is the way she makes him feel.

Review:

For the first time, I wondered if the hero would turn out to be a true hero.

Kathy Otten has created a great romance with a bit of mystery as well. I was rooting for both Madeline and James to both get exactly what they deserved! But then Otten takes the tale and gives it a twist that makes it totally fresh, but such is the magic of  Ms. Otten, that the story came together in a much unexpected way.

Overall a magical read.

It’s tough being the Alpha’s daughter. Emily Prescott spends half her life helping to manage the pack’s business and the other half putting horny he-wolves in their place. When her father sends her on a mission to bring a weak wolf into his Shifter side, it seems like just another pain in her ass—until her bitch perks up and takes notice.

Seth has spent years fighting to keep his wolf at bay, but something about Emily brings out the animal in him. Wild sex with Emily turns into an uncontrollable urge to mate her and make her his. But Emily needs a strong mate—someone who can dominate and defend her.

If weak, geeky Seth wants to woo her, he has some changing to do.

Review:

AMAZING !!!! I enjoyed the story line of this book, I found myself really connecting with the characters. Seth is good man and Emily is a strong woman. Emily is bit of a drama queen and continually overreacting to everything. Seth acts as if he doesn’t like Emily so much that he lets her continue to direct everything that happens and makes a big scene each time it throws his life into turmoil.

I did, however, enjoy the strength and love that Emily and Seth share toward the end. Their bond is a strong one that is tested time and time again and only becomes stronger each time, showing us just how strong love can be.

I really enjoyed meeting these two . The two make a good couple and we can see just how deep the love that they have for each other runs.

Dr. Eduardo Ruiz needs a break from the heart-breaking reality of his job. So when he finally introduces himself to the vivacious woman he’s been admiring, he quickly realizes they could help each other with their sticky situations…and have great fun in the process.

They agree to an outrageous plan. For one night only, she’ll masquerade as his girlfriend to appease his overzealous family members, and he’ll accompany her to meet with her ex-fiancé’s friends, pretending to be her attentive lover. Can they play by their own rules, or will they succumb to the pull of seduction?

When Luke Marchetti walks into his flat to find Lexie in a negligee, all he can think of is having a little flirt and fling. But sweet, caring Lexie is all grown up now, and her determination to keep him at a distance makes him realize she deserves more than he can offer.

One kiss when they were younger ignited a passion that lasted seven long years. But is it enough to entice the two to take a gamble on love?

Review:

Bargain In Bronze ~ I enjoyed this story. Filled with several very steamy encounters between the two main characters. I liked Libby. She has an awesome sense of humor. Tom, on the other hand I respect, and have grown to love.

Seduction in Silver ~ A very intriguing plot that puts a heroine and hero instantly attracted to each other from the moment they meet eyes. A superb job.

Gamble in Gold ~ Rekindling heat from the past always ends in love. Lexi had every intention to get Luke. Oh boy ! Does she.

Flirting to Win Overall ~ All three stories read beautifully. Hot European love, what could be better. The plot of all three progressed exceptionally well, and was easy to follow. I loved how all three stories incorporated the games, genius. Overall, Ms. Anderson combined three excellent stories that made one awesome anthology

Blush sensuality level: This is a suggestive romance (love scenes are not graphic).

Fourth in the Reckless series.

Some folks said that Joey and Blackie were just two kids who should never have met—a girl from the wrong side of town and a half-breed determined to make his mark on the world. Their families had fought on opposite sides at the Little Big Horn, but in each other’s arms, Joey and Blackie find a safe haven from the world.

Review:

A very original story. Madeline Baker continues her strong early historical romance series with the engaging tale of the third child Blackie, who has adopted much of white heritage. So this is a series that I will definitely be following. It’s a great read! And shows you the struggles that a “mixed” race relationship goes through during that time period.

And if that happens, not even the energy of an immortal can bring her back

Review:

Amazing… Forbidden love is always my favorite.

Allie’s real life, relatable problems, I just can’t get enough. Mrs. Eckrich has created an amazing world with an interesting take on abilities.  Being a YA novel with a love-story in center stage, it’s getting a little too much cheesy sometimes even if not unexpected. However,  I was so into the story, I didn’t realize I had come to the end of the book until the last page.

Overall, . I hope to see more about them both.  If you want to spend a lovely time with a novel, go and buy this book.
