Jackie Chase likes her ordered, well managed life. She’s got everything a woman could want and works hard to keep it that way. However, her desire for control is driving her lover away from her. Stuart Marshall loves Jackie’s quest for excellence in everything she does. Even so, the Las Vegas city planner has begun to feel like he’s on the outside of her life looking in.
After a painful time apart, Stuart reaches out to Jackie requesting she meet with him leading Jackie into a night of speed charged, once in a lifetime encounters, which will change the dimensions of her relationship with Stuart forever.
During a night of high speed passion, Stuart pushes Jackie to the boundaries of desire in a quest to keep the love he can’t live.
Feeling Jackie is indulging more and more in her work instead of in him, Stuart decides to spend some time apart for Jackie to consider how she truly feels. And with that he leaves her. Several days later he calls Jackie, saying he misses her, the two talked for an hour and seemed to have reached an understanding. Just for the night Jackie will surrender all of herself in Stuart’s hands, there will be no limits.
Jackie’s Red Mustang is a sexy quick read. It focuses on the night where their relationship and Jackie herself changed for the better. A night where Stuart will set Jackie free from the boundaries she put on herself and a night in which they explore their joined passion.
I liked Stuart’s character, he clearly stated his thoughts and knew what he was looking for in a relationship. He dared to take the chance of possibly losing Jackie when he left her, but he knew she needed some space to sort her own thoughts and feelings out. I liked how Jackie even though she willingly surrendered, she still had minor hesitations. Giving it a realistic vibe, the sexy scenes in the story were just right, the chemistry between Stuart and Jackie was very much presents during these moments. In the beginning it felt slightly off, but after that it was soon forgotten. Overall it was well written that had a quick pace that fit with the story, making it a great quick read.
